Prof Edward Newton CText FTI

It is with great sadness that the Institute informs its members of the passing of Prof Edward Newton CText FTI Vice President of The Textile Institute from 1994-1996. A notice has been placed on the Hong Kong Polytechnic website where Prof Newton spent many happy years and was Head of Department until 2003. Please view the announcement below:

Please be informed that Professor Newton's (TI Vice President 1994-1996) funeral will take place at 11am on Monday 24 October 2016 at Derby Cathedral. The family have said that those that wish to attend and pay their respects are very welcome.
